Why I love…Whole Class Feedback & Other Time-Saving Feedback Strategies



Recently, at #TLT17 @ChrisHildrew and I gave a presentation about how the CPD Feedback group I led last year had informed the whole school feedback policy. At this point in time the details across the school are being implemented and embedded by Middle Leaders and each subject area is deciding for each key stage what they feel is important in their subject area relating to how and what they feedback, as well as the frequency. The feedback group was very much about learning, trialling and responding to a need to reduce workload for teachers across the curriculum; while also ensuring that students are able to move forward as a result of the quality of the feedback they are provided with and the understanding that feedback is only useful and relevant when the student takes on board the feedback and does something with it.
